Text Line Spacing

I don't know what happened, but I need to fix it! For some reason the line spacing on my text is not working properly. When I hit enter to start a new line, it moves to the next line which is BARELY lower than the previous line and types on top of the previous text. I can't think of any changes I made and it used to work fine.

Can someone please help me fix this?

Barbara,

You'd be better off making each line of text a separate layer. That way you can adjust the spacing to your liking.

Happened to me just the other day, while fooling around with something related to a question here.

I eventually deleted prefs.
