I have CS3 Design Premium installed on Leopard. Is there a best way to completely uninstall it... I seem to remember that there is an uninstaller somewhere...If this is true where is it located?
Thanks

Try looking in Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers
#2
I have to wonder if that purges Preferences, too?
I wonder because if someone was uninstalling to reinstall (troubleshooting), leaving Preferences in place could be leaving the problem in place...

There is a checkbox to select if you want preferences removed too.
#4
there is an alias in the application folders too.
BTW this is the same method to uninstall as in Tiger.

There is also a script--somewhere on the adobe site that expunges everything.
I couldn't do an install at work--I kept getting a message it already existed, or something like that until I ran the script.

CS3 cleanscript
#7
Where does one get CS3 CleanScript and How does one use it?
#8
be sure to DEACTIVATE -- Photoshop> Help> Deactivate -- before uninstalling
#9
If you are not reinstalling CS3 you don't need the script just uninstall.
you get the script on the Adobe website.

I am installing CS4 Design Premium. Downloaded it last night from Adobe volume license site. Debating on wether or not to wait and install from media that is now on its way or from the downloaded files... guess there should be no difference.
Just don't want both CS3 and CS4 installed.

Just don't want both CS3 and CS4 installed.
They can coexist very peacefully and harmoniously.
What if you want to use one or more of the CS3 features that were removed in CS4?
#12
For the CS3Clean script, do a search on the Adobe downloads site.

Ramon,
What was done away with in CS4 that CS3 had?
Any special installation instructions for installing on a MAC that already has CS3 DP installed?
#14
Bennet,
A bunch of stuff.
Do a search. It's been discussed ad nauseam. Also see Adobe Photoshop Senior Manager John Nack's blog.

Nope. It makes no difference.
