Rectangular Marquee tool for making shape with rounded corners

I want to make som outlines by using the rectangular Marquee tools. but I want to make it with rounded corners. Want to use STROKES on them to give them the size I want. BUT the problem is that when I do add rouded corner it make it feather. I dont want that. How do I fix this? Or am I using the WRONG tools for it?
