S/N of Elements 1.0 not accepted on Adobe website

I purchased Adobe Elements 2.0 at the store. It came with a rebate for those who had Elements 1.0, which had come pre-installed on my Sony Vaio. When I used 1.0’s register link to register 1.0 online, the web site would not accept the serial number. I can’t see that I am typing anything wrong–the process is very straightforward. Now I’m afraid that if I put that S/N on the rebate card (which is required), it would not be accepted for a rebate.

Anybody have any advice?
