Photograph into a postage stamp?

Hello,

I have Photoshop CS3 for Mac and I am trying to change a photo into a postage stamp with the scalloped edges a postage stamp has - I did a few tutorials online that did not work. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks much,

Rebecca

Rebecca,

Do you want to create stamps you can really use as postage? Or is this just a design component?

For the former, go to <http://photo.stamps.com/Store/?source=si10985886>

For the latter, scan a real postage stamp and replace its graphic content with your design.

As a point of information, those are perforations (if there are round holes with paper removed) or serrations (if there are just slits with no paper removed), not "scalloped edges".

I'd just scan a stamp.

I'd scan an old stamp

Probably with the next version Adobe, all by themselves with no laws debated/passed, will make using stamp scans impossible in the app. Just like they did with money.

That's one of several good reasons for keeping older versions running.

All this time later, and after megaforumloads of people discussing and complaining about the anticounterfeiting measures, I still have no problem scanning currency.

So, ummm...nyah, nyah, na-na, nyah!

and how will all of the stamp auctions make stamp Auction catalogs?

I don't think so Allen.

Stamps with holes are/were lick-to-stick. I don't know if they are even making them except in rolls any more. The wavy edge variety are always the no-lick-self-stickers.

How many calories per lick?

you can always take macro shots

I think it's about two or three.

Yes they still make the licky kind. They are the limited edition style.

None if you don't swallow: lick-spit-stick
