Double clicking on file doesn't open file in Photoshop

My colleague cannot open any files in Photoshop by double clicking.

Nothing happens at all. We have the "open with" information correct and we trashed the PhotoShop preferences.

We used the Disk Utility to repair permissions, restartet and trashed preferences again, but nothing happens neither when double cliking nor right clicking - saying "open with". It is only possible to open from inside the program. Can you help?
