does anyone know the anything about this error message?

mac platform OS 10.2.8
Photoshop CS

"This document has been damaged by a disk error. The most likely causes of this of this error are: a defective disk drive, a defective disk drive cable, or incorrect peripheral cable termination. Some of the pixels in this document may be invalid. Open anyway?

Try to repair permission, that’s the first thing to do when applications give bizarre error messages.

Also, consider posting your request in the Photoshop forum, as you’re currently in the Photoshop Elements forum, a different software.
