Hello.
I recently started experiencing problems with the pen tool, or to be exact, i can’t seem to find anti-alias option that allows you to use it more accessibly, such as the polygonal lasso tool.

I’ve checked all the faqs, help lists, forum topics, but haven’t found anything. * I also tried reinstalling adobe photoshop.

My specs are:

OS: Windows XP
Software version: Adobe Photoshop CS2 9.0

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The Pen tool never had an antialias setting. It is purely vector. If you stroke a path made with it, then whatever tool you use can have an antialias or not.

How would an antialias make it more accessible to use? Note that the Polygonal Lasso is a pixel-based tool, unlike the Pen.

EDIT: Perhaps you mean when you make a path into a selection? The antialias option is in the dialog if you choose Make Selection from the Paths palette. Is that what you are looking for?
