setting up X Y coordinates

When I select the horizontal type tool, I can see the X Y coordinates in the info panel move as I move my mouse around. My question is: can I enter the number corresponding to the X Y coordinates through the keyboard for more precision?

Dunno if there's a direct way but you can do it indirectly by laying down two Guides that intersect at this x-y spot.
