I am currently having problems displaying images in Photoshop Elements 5 and Photoshop CS2. It doesn't matter if the photographs are taken in RAW or jpeg on any of my digital cameras they all appear severely underexposed when opened in either of the above programs. They appear OK when I display them in thumbnail view in Windows explorer as they do in the monitors of the cameras. I would be grateful if anyone could give me some pointers.

Steve,
Have a read of
http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ps9_colour/ps9_1.htm It sounds like your monitor profile is off. ( PS is colour managed, all else isn't)

Mike
Many thanks - looks as if I have a bit of reading to do over Christmas.
Cheers once again
