Can't open PGM file formats in Photoshop ??

Hi there,

Just wondering if it's possible to open a PGM file in Photoshop.

I downloaded the plug-in CartaPGM - and copied the folder to the PLUG-IN folder but it still won't open the PGM file.

Am I missing a step ?

From their website I would guess that it is a Mac only plugin?

IrfanView or XnView might open PGM in Windows. Both are free.

Photoshop comes with a PBM/PGM/PPM/PNM plugin.
If it's not installed by default, check the Extras folder on the CD.

Depending on what version of Photoshop you have (all supported), and whether you need 16-bit support (yes), you can use my NetPBM Formats <http://telegraphics.com.au/sw/#netpbmformats> plugin.
