I have this problem all the time. The easiest solution is to flatten the Photoshop document before making the PDF.

MacBook Pro 16” Mockups 🔥

– in 4 materials (clay versions included)

– 12 scenes

– 48 MacBook Pro 16″ mockups

– 6000 x 4500 px

Preview can read CMYK

Only in Leopard.

The easiest solution is to flatten the Photoshop document before making the PDF

that defeats the whole purpose of saving a PDF.

Preview can read CMYK Only in Leopard.

It works in 10.4 and 10. 5, so your statement is incorrect.

I don’t have a 10.3 system to test with right now.

Oops, My Bad. I was thinking about Mail. I just received a bunch of CMYK Ai files and they are all F’ed up in mail on 10.4 but look just fine in 10.5 on the laptop.

if I had to bet, I’d bet 10.3 Preview reads CMYK, too, but I cannot confirm that now. I do know I test a lot of my CMYK files in Preview before sending them out, and have done so for a loooong time.
