Microsoft has bought some of Creature House's software, and believe it or not, they're giving this software for FREE... !
It's a vector painting software, Expression 3.3

Hi Ray, We are back, I saw this and am downloading it, it is about 30 minutes worth. I do have Illustrator, but haven't used it much. Is this somewhat similar? Do I need both? Jane

As I do not have neither, I can't tell. The best is to try them both :-)

Ray,
This looks like a great deal. However, I know nothing about it and I can not find any directions yet. Are you going to play with it and then teach us like you have so many other things? Hint! Hint!

Carl, while Ray is writing his lesson plan, there was a link to the manual here <
http://www.microsoft.com/products/expression/default.htm> when Ray first posted the link, but it's not working now. I keep getting "site is being updated" so it may be worth checking again in a couple of days.
(Program was too big for dialup, so I don't have it to send to you.)

It looks like so much fun that I will see if I am up to it, and perhaps sign up next fall. Jane

The manual is in the installer. It's Expression 3 En / Expression 3 / e3.pdf. I've briefly looked at it but currently, I have several other ongoing projects which need my attention.
I don't think I will be teaching it but... Stay tuned, I have plans for some other classes :-)
