I recently installed Elements 2.0 (included with my new Epson scanner) on my Dell 8300/Windows XP system. No problems with installation; overall the program appears to behave itself OK.
However, one nagging problem I see is that when I open JPEG image files downloaded from my camera (3.2 m-pixel; camera image compression set to lowest/minimum setting) some colors appear "blotchy". If I open the same image in another program, such as ACDSee, I do not see any of these artifacts in the image. I’ve tried examing settings in Elements to correct this without any success.
Any tips on resolving this would be appreciated; I’m looking forward to using Elements for my photo editing but I want to take care of this glitch first.
Thanks!
