ImageReady Animation Music

Hello,

First, I'm new to ImageReady. FYI...

Second, I was wondering how I can add music to the animations I make in ImageReady. Is there a way or does it have to be exported to another application and then add it or...?

The effect of what I'm going for is to create an animation (as a compiled .gif or exported as an .swf) and add a music clip to it from a song I wrote. I don't think that the movie/animation would be longer than one minute and the song would play for about 2.5 minutes then it would loop after a few seconds.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
D

ImageReady Gifs can't handle sound. The SWF format can, but I think you need Flash to add that, not IR. Flash also allows you to put an interactive button on the sound, so people can turn it off, before it turns them off of your website.

(Image how uncontrollable sound can be a problem if you are in a shared workspace, or if you have a nasty boss sitting a few feet away who thinks you are working.)

Very excellent points. Thank you.

I'll look into the Flash addition.

You can also do it in Acrobat Pro, but the sound is a kludge...you will have to use a program like SoundForge or Soundbooth to cut the sound to the length of your animation.Of course file has to be output as a PDF

Except it is not an addition, but an entirely different program.
