Fuzzy, ragged lines

I am new to PhotoShop (CS2) and can't find how to make a line drawing with fuzzy, ragged edges of the lines crisp and sharp (like the the edges of a true type font).

I have tried to "sharpen" the image as well as trying other techniques but I can't get the image crisp and sharp.

Can anyone help?

Do you mean you want crisp and sharp lines but get fuzzy ragged ones?

What resolution are you working at?
