Tool size/icon not showing…

I’ve reset tools, deleted preference settings, but still each of my tools is intermittently not showing me sizing when I attempt to resize. I only get a small cross with a dot in the middle…

Any thoughts?

Do you mean to engage the Caps Lock Key when I’m having this trouble?

Odd thing – I’ve noticed this happening in CS3 and CS2 and intermittently. When I go into preferences and change the cursor from normal to precise, vice versa, it seems to take care of the problem momentarily…

Sounds like your are just hitting the CL key. Check that next time it happens.

Wow, do you know how long I’ve been trying to figure that out. I’ve always thought it was a bug because of how random it was… only in my frustration today did I finally take the time to search this out… has the be the most overlooked thing… CAPS LOCK are you kidding me?!
