I have image files on my Mac that I want to burn to a CD and then view on a PC. What is a simple shareware/freeware program to view a slide show on a PC?

Presuming you’re using Photoshop Elements (since you’re posting this in the Photoshop Elements Forum), you could use the PDF Slideshow option to create a slideshow which should be platform-independent.

The recipient only needs the free Adobe Reader (formerly known as Acrobat).

The slideshow in PE is quite nice and uncomplicated. However, if you just want a viewer for your own home use, get IrfanView. It is very versatile and a slideshow is one of its many capabilities.

It is very fast, supports favorite directories, slide shows with variable timing between photos, keyboard mapping,
