After editing a JPEG photo from a digital camera, when I try to ‘Save As’ I get the folowing error message: "Could not save as || because the ICC profile description is invalid." The program (not the computer) locks up completely, and I have to close Elements via Task Manager. The computer itself is fine after closing Elements.

I reinstalled Elements and got the same error and lockup again.

Any ideas? I hope this is a moderated forum so I can get some expert advice. Thanks

Richard,

Is this just happening on one photo and have you tried looking at the data on the at photo? If not open the file browser, SINGLE click on the photo from within the browser and you then should be able to look at the information on the left hand lower window. Check to see what the profile is and let us know.

If it is just one photo you could try opening the photo in irfanview and resaving it.
