3. Image Adjust Color Balance- Make it what you want.
Generally speaking, you should not use the Color Balance command if you care about the quality of the image.
The Brightness/Contrast and Color Balance commands, both of which are used by amateur hobbists and casual users, but are rarely or never used by anyone proficient in Photoshop–are "linear" commands. In English, that means they work by clipping hilight and/or shadow detail out of the image. They are "destructive"–using those commands results in irrevocable loss of image detail.
The Curves command can do everything that BColor Balance and Brightness/Contrast can do, and a lot of things those commands can not do, but it is "nonlinear"–it does not degrade the image like Color Balance and Brightness/Contrat.
Once you learn to use Curves, you won’t go back to Color Balance and Brightness/Contrast.
