In Adobe Photoshop 7 on my Mac, I want to be able to draw on a floor plan to make corrections & line additions. Would using the line tool and snapping to a grid be the best way to do this? I would like to be able to use the rectangle tool for making each room on the drawing because that would be easier. What are some of the best tools to use to achieve this purpose?

Make your selection with the Marquee Tool. Edit–> Stroke (Choose your line width and color.) Click OK
