In my opinion CS3 is the most spectacular Photoshop upgrade ever. No comparison.

Not an "abomination"? 😉

Charles, you know very well that the abomination epithet referred to a SINGLE item in the GUI, not the performance. And the abomination was easily susceptible to be conquered through thoughtful compromise. 🙂

(ALL I can say, NDA etc)

I know… just a little ribbing.

there sure seemed to be a bunch of people in the Public Beta forum who dismissed CS3 as a missable version. making comments like there is nothing in this version that warrants getting it.

I think these people are just plain crazy.

It does nothing for me, but then I only use Photoshop as an illustration tool. PS 7 remains the biggest improvement for us brush only folks.

Steve,

Did you actually watch all those videos and read the blurbs in the links I posted?

Perhaps what you would want is something more along the lines of PAINTshop and less of PHOTOshop. 😀

I use Painter more than PS for drawing anyway.. but no, I haven’t seen the vids…. I’d better go look.
