Rotating a selection

Is it possible to select part of an image with the marquee or lasso tool and rotate the selection while it is still active? Remember, I want to rotate the selection, not the image inside.

Select>Transform Selection.

Transform Selection will be available in a contextual menu if you Control + Click, too.
