Lately I’ve been having problems with my brushes, especially when erasing. I get jagged or chunks or streaks instead of smooth soft edges, I cannot figure this out.
I have tried throwing out preferences, resetting brushes… No Luck.

Any help out there?
Thank You.

Hi!
Try to set the spacing to the minimum.

Hey Pierre, would that cause anti aliasing to be off in the brushes?

It sounds more like a brush type selection problem as Buko and John say.

I’m using the default brushes, nothing fancy.
I’ve realized the problem is when erasing on a very light area… it doesn’t erase like an airbrush… it looks like it’s peeling paint.

How do you adust spacing?… I looked on help, but cannot figure it out.

Again… it only happens on the really light (almost white) areas.

Is your monitor properly calibrated?

Can you post a screen capture?
