Lately I've been having problems with my brushes, especially when erasing. I get jagged or chunks or streaks instead of smooth soft edges, I cannot figure this out.
I have tried throwing out preferences, resetting brushes... No Luck.

Any help out there?
Thank You.

use the brush instead of the block or the pencil

It doesn't matter what flow I use either.

Hi!
Try to set the spacing to the minimum.

Hey Pierre, would that cause anti aliasing to be off in the brushes?

It sounds more like a brush type selection problem as Buko and John say.

I'm using the default brushes, nothing fancy.
I've realized the problem is when erasing on a very light area... it doesn't erase like an airbrush... it looks like it's peeling paint.

How do you adust spacing?... I looked on help, but cannot figure it out.

Again... it only happens on the really light (almost white) areas.

Is your monitor properly calibrated?

Can you post a screen capture?
