Trying to make some pdf’s from layered photoshop file. Want to keep the text vector for sharpness, but part of the text goes missing (one and a half characters on lower left of text box) when pdf is reopened in Photoshop (rasterized) or in Acrobat. Is this a known bug and are there any fixes/workarounds. Running latest versions of all programs. thanks! Rich

There are certain font manufacturers who do not permit their fonts to be embedded in PDFs and you might want to check to see if the fonts that you are using are amongst them.
(P22 is one such company.)

Thanks for the info – that’s good to know. However in this case, it’s definitely a PhotoShop bug. I figured out a work around. I needed to put in an extra return. When PhotoShop writes it’s PDF it’s dropping the first character of the last line – by putting in an extra return – the last visible line of text is now the second to last line and all the text appears in the PDF.

Photoshop, not "PhotoShop". 😉

Is there something special about the paragraph formatting of that last line of text?
