Help: Proper way to uninstall Photoshop CS2?

Hi,

I had to reinstall my OSX on my Intel MacPro running OSX. Afterwards I tried to open CS2 and the program said that "One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop are missing" It says I must re-install the program. I had heard that CS2 had a feature that would repair the installation but I can't find any such thing for CS2 9.0.

I have also tried to find an un-installer... but I see that CS2 for MAC does not have that feature.

I have AppZapper... can I use that application to un-install CS2 ... if not, what is the best procedure for doing an uninstall so I can re-install?

Are you trying to permanently remove Photoshop? Or are you simply trying to get it working?

If you are trying to get it working there is a topic in the FAQ that addresses this.

There is also a folder in your Creative Suite 2 folder (if you have one) called "Uninstallers."

There are no uninstallers on a Mac.

just drag the Photoshop CS2 folder to the trash and empty it.

Be sure to remove any 3rd party plugins or anything you added to the folder you want to keep.
