I have a problem with my MacBook Pro when I am using Photoshop CS without my external monitor hooked up. I usually work with my monitor beside the MacBook(without problems) but when I disconnect the external monitor and try to use Photoshop, every time I try to use the color picker, I cannot do anything. It is presumably being launched offscreen, but I still can’t do anything with it. I do not have this problem with other applications so I figured it may be specific to Photoshop.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Specs are:

Photoshop CS 8.0
MacBook Pro
Mac OSX 10.4.6
2GHz Intel Core Duo
2 GB DDR2 SDRAM
50GB Available space
ATI Radeon X1600

Can you…Hook up the other monitor, drag the color picker to the one you want it on and save that Workspace? Then when you are only using one monitor set it to that particular Workspace and when you are using two monitors use another Workspace that you save for that purpose?

If not, Trash Preferences.
