I have some files created last year on Photoshop CS ME for Mac. This year on Photoshop CS2 ME for Mac the files do not open. When I take the files to a PC, I can open them. After re-saving, they open on the Mac. Why is this? Can it be cured?

David,

What kind of an error message do you get?

Have you tried opening them through the File menu > Open command? (If that works, you may have some File Browser or Bridge corruption.)

Have you also tried Purging the Cache for the offending folder(s)? (from Bridge’s "Tools" menu)

Another thing to try is to create a new folder and move the files there, discarding the older folder.
