Hi all,
I have two photos taken from the same spot of the same subject with two different lenses. One was taken with about 80mm zoom, the other one around 30mm. I made some color changes to the 80mm one to darken the sky behind the subject. What I would like to do is to be able to adjust the second image (30mm) so that the same patch of sky is exactly the same color as in the first image (80mm). I have CS, not CS2 and I can't find an option to do this. I'm sure it is there somewhere, but I can't find it. Any help appreciated:)

Measure the RGB values of the color you want to duplicate and adjust the second image accordingly.
Some people use this method routinely for things like skin tone: they record the RGB values of various skin tones that they like and adjust images to match.

Thanks, think that was what I was looking for. However, this compares the entire images or selections and the results I've got so far were... quite awfull<bg> I'll experiment with it by selecting the sky in both images and see if I can make it work that way.

Like all PS's tools It can take a little practice to "bend it to your will" but it is well worth the effort.
Just make sure the imge or layer you want to change is active and your "source" and "destination" show the correct files or layers.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling the practice part<g> I've only been messing with PS for about 3 months and so far it has been very rewarding experience:)

I will experiement some more with this over the weekend and see if I can make sense of it. Thanks for pointing me in the rigth direction:)
