I’ve determined that the problem occurs when I use Adobe Acrobat at the same time as when I’m using Photoshop.

The problem is repeatable.

Ac corrupt font file has nothing to do with it.

Century Gothic and Arial are both fonts that should not be causing problems. Do you have enough resources (RAM and disk space) to be using both these applications at the same time.

Many people do use both together, so there must be something about your system.
