Locked Layer-Image size

I recently recieved some photos from our company photog that I need to re-sze. When I went to image size, I couldn't type and I discovered that the image is locked completely and I cannot get it to release so I can resize....any suggestions?

Running CS2 on XP

You could not type anywhere at all in the image size dialog box?
