Paste in place in CS2

Hi!

I have a text layer that i want to copy and paste in other ps-documents with the same dimensions. I want the text layer to be pasted in the same place as it was in the original document (paste in place in for example Flash). There must be a quick and easy way. I am new to the program btw.
I have PS CS2 on a iMac G5

Shift-drag the layer from one document to another

also select the layer in the layer pallet.

duplicate layer and when the dialog appears chose the document you would like it to go in.
