Does anyone know how to convert a .jpg to a .dst file for an embroidered logo? Vendor wants to charge $100 to my client for this and there’s got to be a better way.

Anyone have a decent vendor who does embroidery and either accepts jpgs or does the conversion free maybe? It’s for a church, so they’re on a tight budget.

You usually need to convert your jpg to a vector image first. Then you need a program such as; Windows: Designer’s Gallery StudioPlus; Orchida Embroidery System; VeePro Embroidery Software; Buzz Tools; S & S Computing SewWhat! to save it as a .dst file. There may be a pluggin somewhere for Illustrator but I’m not sure.
