Wait did it work and your just looking for other ways of doing it or it doesn’t work?

Well you need to open the FLA in flash and republish the file. Go to Publish settings, Under the HTML tab set your window mode to be set to transparents windowless. Did you do this?

It won’t work unless you do the above.

It should work if you have followed those steps unless your browser does not support. Your browser needs to be any of these

Internet Explorer 3 or higher (Windows)
Internet Explorer 5.1* and 5.2* (Macintosh)
Netscape 7.0*
Mozilla 1.0 or higher*
AOL*
CompuServe*
