Hi There,

Prior to our recent hardware upgrade, command clicking an object in the main window would select that layer – even if it was in a group.

After a clean erase and install of OS X 10.4.8 and Photoshop CS2, that option no longer works – I have to right click the layer (in the main window not the layers palate) and select the layer.

Does anyone know if this is a preference or a bug? – I can’t seem to find any mention of this in the help or online.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Ben

Select the move tool and look to the options bar for "Auto Select" options.

Hi there Scot,

Both "Auto Select Layer" and "Auto Select Group" is on but don’t seem to work at all. Also, I’ve noticed that command clicking works so long as there aren’t any groups.

Anyway, thanks for your help.

Turn-off the "Auto Select Group" box.
