I'm on a Mac G5 - OS X 10.4.4 with 4.5 GB of memory and Photoshop 9.0.2.
My granddaughter wants me to do some portraits using the comic book/pop art effect she saw online at photofiddle.com.
I have several actions that will easily do the trick - but every one of them crashes Photoshop.
After a bit of detective work I figured out it was the anisotropic filter that is causing the crashes. to test my theory I went directly to Filter>Stylize>Diffuse>Anisotropic in Photoshop - not using an action. The moment I hit the Aniso button - crash - I am back on the desktop!
Any advice would be appreciated.
