Hot Folder to drive Photoshop Actions

Hi All

This is my first posting so go gentle with me!

Does anybody know how to create a VBscript, Applescript…etc to do the following –
1) a file droped into a specific folder is opened in PS
2) a specific action is run on the file in PS
3) the file is deleted from the drop folder
4) steps 1 to 3 repeat each time another file is drpoeed into the specifc folder.

No, but if you create a droplet you do the opposite – you drop a folder or a file onto the droplet and it is automatically processed.

Check the helpfile for actions and droplets.

I believe I read somewhere, but cannot confirm, that the most recent versions of Mac OS support this concept, so AppleScript is a possibility.
