ImageReady CS – Error# 1407

ImageReady CS will not open. I keep receiving the following message:

"Could not fully start the application. An operating system error has occured (error #-1407)"

This doesn’t happen when I try to open PhotoShop or Illustrator. Plus I can open an ImageReady image by going through Illustrator, but ImageReady is still not available to where I can use it, only the image is available.

I am running G4 Desktop/Mac OS 10.4.7

I’m having the same problem. I have six brand new G5’s running 10.4.7.

The message "Could not fully start the application. An operating system error has occurred (error #-1407)" comes up for me too. I need to have image ready up and running ASAP, because there are students that need to use it. Would really appreciate any help I can get.

Try trashing your IR Preferences.
