why are the images in the filmstrip of the Camera raw dialog box not in order? (Pshop 9.01 CS2 OS10.

This is really bugging me. When I open a group of camera raw images in the camera raw dialog box they are displayed in a film strip on the left of the dialog box. But these are never in the correct order - surely they should be in file name order? Mine are always displayed in a random order. It's really annoying. Can anyone suggest the simple solution to this problem that has escaped me?
