Removing Shadows

I’m trying to remove some shadow that were created by clouds in an aerial Photo. I’m not having any luck. I’m running Photoshop CS.

Try an adjustment layer and paint in the layer mask

Try this:

Duplicate layer

Desaturate

Invert

Put duplicate in Overlay blending mode

Add Gaussian Blur to taste

Adjust opacity

For advanced users, try Advanced blending sliders by right-clicking layer and selecting Layer Blending
