Hello!

I need to create a 32 bits/channel image, but in the "New Image" dialog window I can only select 8 and 16 bits/channel option. I can’t also convert any other image to the 32 bits/channel mode using "Image>Mode>32 bits/channel". In the "Image>Mode" menu, "32 bits/channel" option is locked. Where can be a problem? I use Adobe Photoshop CS2 on Windows XP Home Edition.

Regards
Pit

The problem is that 32bit CMYK images are not supported in CS2.

The 32bit capability is for photographic HDR images which exist only in RGB.

Why do you need 32 bit/channel (floating point!) for CMYK?
