Can't see an icc profile in list to install

I have an ICC profile (from <http://www.scarse.org/goodies/profiles/> ). I want to assign the profile to a picture. I have installed the profile and I see it in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\COLOR . But, when I do edit \ assign profile and check on "profile", I do not see it in the list. Why not?

I am running Window's XP

Profiles have an internal name which does not neccessarily correspond to the external name (ie the filename)

Go through the list of profiles carefully to find the new one.
