I am getting awful color casts when I download photos to Elements. Is there a way to calibrate Elements with your particular computer? Any help is greatly appreciated. I know it isn’t the pictures because they were fine on my last computer. Thanks!

Debra,

If you have a CRT, have you calibrated it? This is a vital step to ensure color accuracy on screen. The Adobe Gamma Utility is in the Control Panel on Windows.

Good tutorial on the calibration and profiling utility at <http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ps7-colour/ps7_2.htm> .
