Installing Photoshop 5.5 on new Mac Book Pro

I have photoshop 5.5 and I am trying to install it on a new Mac Book Pro. The software is for both Mac and Windows but it isn’t working when I try to install it, or, I’m not doing correctly. Can anyone help??
