Backup CD for CS2

Just purchased my downloaded trial of CS2. There was no option for me to purchase a backup CD. Does anyone know how I can obtain this? I sent an email to customer service but I haven't heard back.

I doubt you'd need a backup CD for the 30 day trial. If something were to go wrong you'd not be able to install it on the same machine again anyway - at least not without doing a full format of the HD. For the same reason you must avoid any temptation to alter your system date, as this would cause the trial to terminate immediately.

When it comes to purchasing the full version, I'd go for the Boxed CD version instead of the download. Then you could, if you wish, make a back-up of that. You should be able to have it on next-day delivery (in the UK and USA at least).

Not forever, Chris.

I would strongly suggest burning a copy (or two) of the download and keep it(them) in a very safe place.

And I'll second the choice of purchase. I'd never spend that kind of money on a downloaded program unless that was the only choice.

You can definitely back up the downloaded version, either before or after expanding it from the self-extracting archive. The file layout of the expanded version is identical to the disk from the box.
