A six-pointed, "curvy" star?

Hi all!

My client wants me to make a star in their logo with six points, and, make it "curvy." There's a curvy looking asterisk shape in Photoshop under "Shapes," but it only has five points, and I don't know of an option to make more points. In Illustrator, I can make a star with six points easily, but I don't know how to curve them!

I could draw one with the pen from scratch, but something less tedious would be a heck of a lot more convenient in the future.

Can anyone help?

(I'm using Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS, and OSX 10.4.)

If you play with the settings (the little triangle in the option bar)of the polygonal tool, you should be able to create it.

And try making the logo in Illustrator, that way you can scale it as much as you want.
