I’m using the CS2 suite. I’m jumping from ai10 straight to CS2, so I haven’t tried it on CS1 to see how it handles the file.

I just tried pasting a masked vector image from ai10 into PS-CS2 and pasting behaved properly without resizing. So, it must be an ai12 issue. I have tried flatenning and rasterizing the ai12 vector art, but still get the resizing issue. Hopefully it’s just a preference in ai12 that needs to turned on/off, even though I haven’t been able to find one.

If anyone has figured out a fix, it would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I seem to have found a solution to the resizing issue. In ai under preferences/File Handling and Clipboard, in the Clipboard section have only AICB checked, make sure PDF is not checked and also have Preserve Appearance and Overprints checked.

I thought I had tried this before, but seems to be working fine now.

Cheers,
Joe
