Diffuse Glow filter quit working correctly–it darkens

I am having trouble with diffuse glow on both my laptop and my main computer. I use PS CS on Windows PC and instead of turning the image a "glowy white" it turns the image a "glowy dark".

I tried reinstalling PS, but that didn’t seem to solve the problem.

Any one else have this issue and know how to fix it?

Hit the d-key . i think you have your foreground/background switched

Sorry,then hit the x-key to switch to white,which is what you want.
