I have been trying to figure out how you are using the Highlight / Shadow adjustment to add contrast. I have only used it to bring out shadow detail. I have started off with the settings that you have shown and I can get it to work on some images but not on others. How do you determine what the black and white clip should be? Also, what about the other settings? Of course I know that this is image dependent, but are there any guidelines? I have been able to use the highlight portion to add contrast on lighter areas, but I can not get the shadow adjustment to add contrast to darker areas?
